Making Changes to Your Booking
Life is unpredictable, and sometimes you need to adjust your Seayott boat booking after it's been confirmed. We provide several options for modifying your reservation, though availability and fees may apply.
Types of Changes Available
You can modify several aspects of your booking depending on the boat owner's policies and availability. The most common changes include adjusting dates, changing the number of guests, or upgrading to different equipment packages.
Some changes may require owner approval and could affect your total booking cost. Always check with your boat owner before making significant modifications to ensure availability.
Changes made within 48 hours of check-in may not be possible and could be subject to cancellation policies instead.
Date Modifications
Changing your booking dates is often possible if the boat remains available for your new preferred dates. Date changes are subject to the owner's availability calendar and may result in price adjustments based on seasonal rates.
Contact your boat owner directly through the Seayott messaging system to request date changes. If approved, you'll receive an updated booking confirmation with new dates and any price adjustments.
Guest Count Adjustments
You can usually reduce the number of guests in your party without additional fees, though this won't typically result in a price reduction. Increasing guest count depends on the boat's maximum capacity and may incur additional charges.
Safety regulations strictly limit passenger capacity on all vessels, so guest increases are only possible within the boat's certified limits.
Upgrade and Add-on Options
Many boat owners offer additional equipment, services, or amenities that can be added to your booking after confirmation. Popular add-ons include fishing gear, water sports equipment, catering services, or professional captain services.
Upgrade pricing and availability vary by owner and location. Some upgrades must be arranged in advance due to equipment preparation requirements or third-party service coordination.
